VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

It is important that your pet meets our minimum standards on vaccination. Prior to checking in you will be required to have verification that your pet meets these requirements. On the check in day your pet must have received the vaccination more than 7 days prior. So please check this before placing a booking. It is preferred that you fax or email a copy of your certificate ( preferably the last two concurrent certificates)  if possible prior to your drop-off day.

 

Dogs

Due to Parvo risks we cannot board pups under five months old.

We require your dog to have completed a full course of C5 or 5 in 1.  Covering

• Distemper
• Parvovirus
• Hepatitis
• Parainfluenza
• Bordetella

 

Please note that C3 or 3 in 1 does not meet our requirements.  If your dog has had this vaccination in the last 12 months   then you will need to organise to have the Parainfluenza and Bordetella injections and boosters or intranasal application which could be required two weeks before your planned boarding date.

 

• Similarly note that C4 or 4 in 1 does not meet our requirements and if your dog has had this vaccination in the last 12 months then you will need to organise to have the Bordetella injection, booster or intranasal application which could be required two weeks before your planned boarding date.

 

• It is most important that you check this with your vet and get your certificate.

Cats

• Your cat must be desexed.
• The minimum requirement for cats is F3 as this vaccination covers Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis.
We would recommend that if it is close to re-vaccination date that you plan to have this vaccination carried out one week prior to boarding.
